Statement of Faith

  • Word of God – Is inerrant, infallible, inspired, preserved word of God in the King James Bible (II Tim. 3:16; Ps. 12:6-7;  Jn. 17:17)
  • Trinity – One God in three persons - the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Ephesians 4:4-6)
  • God manifested in the flesh – The deity of Jesus Christ: His virgin birth, His sinless humanity, His substitutionary death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to Heaven, and His personal coming again. (John 1:1-3; Matthew 1:18-25; I Corinthians 15:3-4; II Corinthians 5:21; Acts 1:9-11)
  • Salvation – Salvation is by faith in Christ alone, without works, and solely by grace. (Ephesians 2:8-9)
  • Eternal Security - That a born again child of God cannot lose their salvation. We are eternally secured in Christ Jesus by the power of God. (Jn. 5:24, 10:27-29; Rom. 8:35-39; Phil. 1:6).
  • The Holy Spirit – The present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life. (Romans 8:9-14)
  • The Resurrection – The resurrection of the body; the eternal glorified state of believers in Heaven, and the eternal punishment in Hell of all who reject Christ. (I Thessalonians 4:13-17; Revelation 20:11-15)
  • The Church – The Church is made up of true born again Jewish and Gentile believers from the day of Pentecost to the time of the rapture of the Church. The Local Church is made up of true born again baptized believer that assemble together for evangelism and edification (Acts 2:41,42,47: 20:17-28; Eph. 4:11-16).
  • Ordinances - There are two ordinances to be kept by the local church: baptism and the Lord’s Supper. Baptism is by immersion after salvation and it is a picture of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is also a prerequisite for local church membership. The Lord’s Supper is the remembrance of His death and we are to do it until He comes.(Acts 8:36-39, 18:8; I Cor. 11:23-32).
  • Separation – We separate from people who are not living for the Lord Jesus Christ, not that we are better than them but it will be one less battle to fight. We also separate from sinful lust and worldly living. We separate from those with doctrine that does not match with the word of God (Rom 16:17; II Cor. 6:14- 7:1; Eph 5:11; II Jn. 10).
  • Dispensations – That the Bible can be divided into periods of time known as dispensations and that to understand and interpret scripture the Bible must be studied dispensationally (II Tim. 2:15)
  • The Second Coming of Jesus Christ - The imminent pre-millennial, pre-tribulation, and personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ to take His Church unto Himself, and the subsequent establishment of His millennial Kingdom on the earth at His visible and glorious appearance. (I Thessalonians 4:13-17; John 14:3; Revelation 19:11-21; 20:1-6)
